Sponsor a hive and help to save our honeybees

Sponsor a colony of our honey bees and help them survive in difficult times.

The idea of the scheme is that it should help us keep different types of honeybees and put online (in the form of a blog) a record of how they are treated and how they respond to treatment. What will you sponsorship help us to achieve?

• Increase the overall honeybee population.
• Prevent more old queen bees from being killed.
• Help us to foster a less intensive and more bee focused style of keeping bees.
• Keep some useful data on the colonies and queens that are sponsored

You will be able to:

• Follow the progress of 'your' bees online.
• Enjoy the unique taste of the honey they produce.

You will be receive:

• A big thank you from me in the form of a sponsor's certificate.
• Two jars of honey as a Christmas gift each year.

Every colony with a sponsored queen will have it's own blog where every inspection and the actions taken will be described as we go through the year.

Sponsor a hive for £50 per year
