BEES FOR SALE

Buying bees: I have bees ready for sale at most times of the year but the best time to buy bees is in the early spring when they are easy to handle and move around (Please email me for current prices)
Buying a hive of bees in the spring also has the advantage that you are likely to get some honey from your bees before the year is over.

However, you can buy bees from me in the middle of the summer and build a strong colony to go through the winter ready for a good start the following spring and you can buy them in the autumn with Apistan (varroa control) strips in.

To get started in beekeeping you need:- a hive base with entrance block, a brood box with 11 made up brood frames, a queen excluder on top of the brood box, several supers and frames, a crown board on top of the supers, and finally a lid on top.

If you wish you can buy my brood box, entrance block, base, and a crown board, in which case l will block the entrance in the evening after the bees have stopped flying and later that same evening you can take the brood box away with the bees in all strapped down and secured - (Please email me for current prices)

If you wish me to set everything up with brand new equipment just for you I will need a little notice.
BUY THE WORKS - A NEW HIVE MADE UP COMPLETE WITH A LAYING QUEEN AND BEES PLUS 3 SUPERS MADE UP READY FOR HONEY PRODUCTION

(Please email me for current prices)

If you need all the equipment mentioned above and wish to make up the boxes yourself check out Thornes current stated prices. If you are working to a very low budget
email me to see if there is any old second hand equipment available.

If you are giving up bee keeping and have second hand bee keeping kit that you want to sell please email me I often have customers waiting to buy.
